Broadcast Guide (YouTube, Xsplit, DaVinci)

This guide will teach you how to start and manage the broadcast setup with XSplit, Youtube, and Davinici

1.On Broadcast PC Start the three programs/brower; XSplit, Youtube, and Davinici

YouTube:

1. When logged in and at channel home page, go to the "video camera with the +" at the top Right, and click "go live"

2. Next select "copy and create" on "Council Meeting Template"

3.Edit Name and Description to match upcoming event, and don't forget to set the time and date, then click save.

4. The next page will look like this, with different tile title and description. Verify you are on COUNCIL MEETINGS (480p) under stream key.

5. Go to XSplit

XSplit:

1.Verify both Dazzle and Hauppauge are listed under Scene 1, and has a video feed from the room.

2. Then to start the Stream click Broadcast in the top left and select the Custom RTMP - City of Glenwood Springs output. (you will see the text turn red so you know your streaming)

3.Go back to YouTube.

YouTube:

6. You will now see the feed show up in the top left preview window. and now you will be able to click the Go Live button at the top right.

DaVinci:

1. Verify the levels are good for YouTube and then click the Mute button in the middle right side. (the mute button will be darker when you are live)
